Biography of the Researcher and Writer Hassouni Mohamed Abdelghani
Hassouni Mohamed Abdelghani was born in 1982 in Algeria, into a conservative environment characterized by religious, scholarly, and cultural values. His father was a scholar and jurist, which enabled him from an early age to delve deeply into the religious sciences, memorize the Holy Qur’an at a young age, and receive foundational training in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence (usul al-fiqh) and Arabic grammar. This value-based and scholarly environment constituted a fundamental starting point in his intellectual and research journey.
He attended public schools, where he completed his primary, middle, and secondary education. However, the requirements of national service imposed a long interruption in his studies. Despite this, he returned with strong determination to continue his academic path, obtaining the baccalaureate certificate in 2021. He then enrolled in the Faculty of Law at Adrar University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree (Licence) in 2024.
Throughout his university studies, he distinguished himself by a strong passion for scientific research and a constant effort to link legal theories with practical applications. His research is grounded in the realities of Algerian and Arab society, with a focus on issues related to the legal and political system, national movements, and cultural identity in the context of global transformations. This direct connection between his religious and value-based formation and his academic orientations has made Hassouni Mohamed Abdelghani a researcher who combines intellectual authenticity with openness to contemporary issues.
